Periodic Update on what I'm doing.

,

Here's a selected list of stuff I've been up to.

I went to a coding academy and learned full-stack MEAN Javascript. I made an application that helps me manage my Twitter archives for comedy purposes. I'm at Twitter at @itsthebrandi. I'm also still appearing regularly at Acme Comedy Company.

Upcoming

I will be the guest for The Gilmore Guys live recording of their podcast on March 5, 2016.

I will also be appearing on Revision Path podcast to interview creator/founder Maurice Cherry about himself.

My Writing

January 2016: "Berenstain Bears Lost In Cyberspace", The Message
I read a Berenstain Bears chapter book and it was three parts of sheer madness.

Press

January 2016 "5 Comedians to Watch in 2016", Growler Magazine

August 2015: "An Insider's Cultural Guide To Minneapolis", The Guardian

Live-Appearances

At some point after the last time I posted what I was doing I opened for Nick DiPaolo's special, Hannibal Burress' Netflix special, Jim Norton and for Maria Bamford. I moderated the "Trump vs Bernie" show with James Adomian and Anthony Anamanuik when it came through Minneapolis. I've also been appearing regularly at Acme.

Podcast Appearances

Brandi and Bill Talk About Blaxploitation: This is the podcast Bill Stiteler and I periodically do. We watch Blaxploitation or at least movies about black people and we talk about them. We very recently released an episode.

Feb 2016: Deep In Bear Country: I was a guest on a podcast about the Berenstain Bears because I'm on to those bears and because I really need to talk about how Mama Bear wears a nightgown all the time. She does. Anyway, on this episode I discuss The Neighborly Skunk.

November 2015: No Laugh Track:  I appeared on the Acme Comedy Company podcast with comedian Steve Gillespie.

November 2015: Magnotronic. Back talking about street pizza and Dunkin Donuts.

June 2015: Classick Team Up: Will West and I finally talk to each other using our voices and we do a one-off (so far) podcast with Classick.

March 2015: Secret Skin: I was on a live episode of Secret Skin, Open Mike Eagle's podcast. It was recorded at MPR and I hopped in a rap cipher with Psalm One and the Rapperchicks and Carnage and Aby Wolf. It was dope as fuck.

November 2014: The Mundane Festival: I took a trip to NYC for free 99 for Last Comic Standing call backs and met comedian Chris Lamberth and we recorded in a parked car.

June 2014: I appeared on Magnotronic and discussed "Are You Being Served."

I'm sure this isn't exhaustive but whatever. Go ahead and Google me, there's probably more stuff.
